Connecting Teams in an Interactive, 3D Living Environment
Since 1996, Under Armour (UA) has remained focused on one mission: “Under Armour Makes You Better.” From how they train to how they compete to how they recover before doing it all again, their purpose is to empower those who strive for more. This ethos is reflective of VIVA’s creative approach to competing and striving for more. Through work on UA’s Virtual Summit, a perfect partnership was forged.
For their Virtual Summit, UA needed to connect with their teams, from every major region around the world, to timely deliver them product information, company-wide updates, and sales tools. UA wanted these updates provided in new and engaging ways.
VIVA developed and created the solution with an interactive, 3D living environment that housed up-to-the-minute content and customized showrooms that displayed the latest UA gear and apparel. The simplicity, clean design, and seamless navigation hide a technologically advanced and intuitive foundation. Further, the easy-to-use backend allowed the UA team to quickly update and add resources for their teams use, as well as new product showcases.
The virtual building also included a “recharge room” with on-demand workouts and meditation videos to help with employee physical and mental health. Thinking towards future event potential, a “main stage” was also built to hold special performances and announcements to make the space purposeful, but also an engaging area for the UA sales team to revisit throughout the year.
